Rock chain

If you have seen the picture of Sringeri Temple,then You must have noticed this rock chain on that photograph.
The specialty in this rock chain is that it has no cracks on it and it is carved out of a single rock .
This chain is hanging on the Architecture of the temple and it moves when wind blows at this structure.

Sringeri,karnataka.

This is a famous temple at Sringeri , karnataka. and one of the oldest temples of India .

These Pictures will speak their Architecture and the Sculptures present in the walls will say many incarnations of Lord Vishnu.

samse tea garden...

This is called Samse's tea garden.
I found it on the way to Siringeri, a holy place.

Many of them are thinking that it is just a plant . But the truth behind is Tea is a tree .
We human beings , cut those tree to our height so that taking tea leaves will be easier for us.

You must wonder (if u look at the picture closer) , what are those trees in between the tea plantation.
That's nothing but the OAK trees. Tea plantation will be good if the tea is under the shades of the Oak trees. Interesting !!

Endangered Species

The Sparrows

We all knew that these sparrows are the most common species of bird found in 20th century
But this is that same species of bird which is becoming an endangered species .
Taking a photograph having 4 sparrows at the same place has become a difficult job for the 21st century members . And the major problem behind is the frequency of the cell phone signals we use . There is no other way for the signals to pass through without that frequency and there is no way a man can't have a cell phone in his hand in this century.
Just try a day without cell phone to save them becoming an endangered species
:)

Murudeshwar from 18th floor.

This is the photo taken from the 18th floor of the tall structure you saw before.
You can see the vast sea at the back of the huge shiva statue.

Many of us don't know that Lord shiva has Three childs.
We only know about Lord Ganapati and Lord Murugan.And the next is Lord Veerabhadra.
Lord veerabhadra helped Lord Murugan during the act of "Surasamharam".

Lord  veerabhadra is there at the right of Lord shiva painted in golden shades.

Murudeshwar,Karnataka.

This is the Shiva statue you saw behind that tall structure.
Along with Him,You can see Ravana who is a great devotee of Lord Shiva.
There is small boy taking a "linga" from ravana is none other than Lord Ganapati.
Hint:I said there is a story behind Idakunji and Murudeshwar.

Murudeshwar,Karnataka.

This tall structure is present at Murudeshwar which has become a tourist spot for karnataka.
This structure was built just a few years ago and before that you can only a tall statue of lord shiva ( Behind the spirit) and there was a coastal hotel and lodge.
The statue of Lord Shiva was so high and I could be visited even two to three kilometers away from this coastal town,Murudeshwar.
The tall spirit you see in the picture has steps inside and two lifts are present.one for going up to the 18th floor of the spirit and another to come down.

Spirit of Mookambika temple,kollur.

This is the Spirit of Mookambika temple at kollur.
Nothing more to say about this temple.
To know more about this temple .....  see older posts.

Some of them don't know about the october of the spirit.
This october will have corn which most of us don't knew.
There is a reason for keeping corn in that october and they replace them for every 11 years.
Reason  :
If a cataclysm occurs accidentally , then the seeds in the october will help the plants and organisms to grow again on our unique planet.

Not only this temple on our planet has corns in the october .
So no problem to the plants in our planet
;-)

Idagunji

This is the toy trowel at Idagunji temple, karnataka.
I said there is  a story between Idagunji and the coastal place Murudeshwar.
I will post that story with a 3D description along with the photos taken at Murudeshwar.

The statue of Lord Ganapati is in that posture due Ravana who was Giant of lanka.
This  story will be so interesting and please have an eye on my blog.

Tree tops at Idagunji.

Idagunji is a place located nearly 50 kilometers away from Murdeshwar which is located at the coast of karnataka.
There is a story about these places .
Idagunji temple is famous for Lord Ganapathy who is in a standing posture.
You people can't find a Ganapati statue in standing posture anywhere than here in India.

This temple was so special for Lord Ganapathy worshippers and photographs or videos were strictly prohibited at this precious place.So, i took just two photos.

This photo shows the height of the coconut trees.

Gateway of Kollur.

This is the Gateway of Kollur.
This place Kollur has a very powerful Goddess called Mookambika.

We all knew that M.G.Ravichandran , Famous Tamil Actor who has acted in 136 tamil films, Former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, is from DMK party .even after joining DMK , he had a confidential visit to this temple.
His visit was so confidential and came here by 4 AM at a fine morning with a "GOLDEN SWORD" as a tribute for this god.
His confidential visit broke up as one of the photographers had photographed him when he came out of the temple.

I saw that goddess and the golden sword too.The golden sword was just placed near to the Goddess and was easily visible to all those who came there , but people don't know that was a tribute from Mr.MGR.

Manipal,Karnataka.

This is Tiger Circle Bus stop.This is the landmark for Kasturba Hospital and Medical college
This is just in front of that Kasturba Hospital.
This is one of the most populous places in karnataka.
I couldn't photograph this so easily as traffic crossed this road very frequently.
The center globe you see this picture will rotate when the fountain is On.
Ain't this idea cool ?     :)

Cute Kitten at Malpe Beach

This kitten was photographed at Malpe.
If you see it very closely, you can see that it is not even the size of a tile on which it is sitting.
Though I was attracted to the Beach,the kites flying in the sky etc,. This little thing attracted me the most and hence I photographed it.

I don't know why it was shivering .
I thought it may be due to the winds at Beach and left the place.

There must be statues only for this simple man....

This photo was taken at Malpe Beach, karnataka.
This Old man is a well known person to us....nothing to say more about him.

A few words about a person who is the only person to have statues all over INDIA.

We were just slaves for the British government who ruled our nation for more than 400 years.
They took a weapon called VIOLENCE which remembers the massacre of JALIAN WALA BAGH in the minds of every INDIAN.
The country waited for a person to guide us to freedom and to fight against with a very cruel weapon than the British had.
He guided us for the freedom of our nation with the most cruel weapon called NON-VIOLENCE.
Our nation only has got such freedom with very low number of deaths of freedom fighters and it counts less than a lakh of people.At last , though we bought freedom for our nation, we lost many of our Muslim friends during the partition of INDIA and PAKISTAN.


At our present situation,
we have statues for many of them in our nation at every nook and corner who had done nothing for the nation.Politicians give him a wish during Gandhi jayanthi for the votes they want from our mad people.
Many politicians are having other photos instead of Gandhi's photo at their back of the seats.
These must protest these illegal activities by our politicians. one shouldn't just open a statues all around the Nation. All those statues standing in roads are not equal to our father of our nation.

WE MUST BRING A CHANGE IN THIS SITUATION AND ALL WE NEED IS
                                             "UNITY"

AT MALPE BEACH, KARNATAKA.

I went to Malpe Beach then from Udupi.

I saw a rare bird which was photographed by many at a tree.

When reached there with my camera, the bird flew away and sat on a coconut tree.

Others went and the bird was silent on the tree and i had some luck to photograph the shade of this rare bird.It had white colour on its body and had black shades at its head.

This bird was looking like a " flying penguin "  :)

Wait for the next picture .... who was an interesting person in our Freedom Fight.

He has a statue in front of the beach ....

Udupi Krishna Temple

 

This is the main entrance for this Udupi Krishna Temple.
Here the people enter through this entrance though the Krishna Idol is facing towards the other spirit which you see in this picture.
There is a statue for Kalidasa , the poet and a great devotional singer.
Now, the people are worshipping him equal to a god.
What a great poet !!!! 

Story about UDUPI KRISHNA TEMPLE,KARNATAKA .

Hindus believe that Lord Vishnu has took 10 Incarnations and also maximum of us know that Lord Krishna is an incarnation of Him.
This story might be a Myth ,but it shows the omnipresence of a God in this Universe.


Once lived a poor man of depressed caste. His name was  Kālidāsa . He was a great poet and he ran his days by writing devotional songs for Lord Krishna.Once he wanted to enter this temple to see Lord Krishna.
But,
According to the ancient systems, a man of depressed caste should not come into the temple and other holy regions of the place,and hence he was not allowed inside the temple.
Frustrated Kālidāsa went to the side of the temple and started singing about Lord Krishna.

By seeing this poor man , Lord Krishna decided to give darshan for him and not for so-called upper caste people .Hence turned himself towards the poor singing man and gave darshan for Kālidāsa .

Thus after this happening, the so-called upper caste people of that place allowed all the people to enter the temple without seeing the caste.
Hence Lord Krishna demolished Caste system of the place.And from that time the temple is providing "annadhanam" for those people who visit the temple.

UDUPI KRISHNA TEMPLE

My Tour to UDUPI , KARNATAKA.

I started my tour from Udupi , a holy place for the Hindus .
The Above picture you see is the sculptured art on the spirit of the temple.
My mom wanted me to take this picture and so I photographed accordingly.
There is a story behind this temple and wait for the story for another 24 hours....
